3. Job Summary
The District Agriculture Officer Nepal will be responsible for supporting agriculture-related project implementation at the district level. The role includes coordination with local stakeholders, technical support to farming communities, and monitoring of agricultural activities aligned with project objectives.
4. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Master’s degree in Agroecology, Entomology, Horticulture, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience,
OR - Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in agriculture development, agroecology, pollination, or agrobiodiversity.
- Practical field-level experience in rural or district-based projects is preferred.
Language Skills
- Proficiency in English and Nepali, both written and spoken.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work and reside in the assigned district.
- Prior experience or familiarity with the assigned district will be an advantage.
- Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
5. Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
